Job summary

Georgia Tech seeks a veteran campus planning leader to guide sector and space planning, bridging renewal projects with the Institute's master plans. You will coordinate with OPDC, Facilities Maintenance & Operations, and external consultants to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication of complex studies.

The role involves mentoring students, presenting to leadership, and representing the Institute in community and government settings, while advancing sustainable planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Engineering, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or equivalent.
• Ten years of job related experience.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCad, Revit, SketchUp and related software.

Responsibilities

• Develop campus sector, topical, and space plans.
• Promote and refine the campus master plan with stakeholders.
• Develop conceptual programs and budgets for campus capital projects.
• Develop pre-programming documents and information for decision-making.
• Conduct site and space planning and capacity studies.
• Summarize complex planning and environmental issues for non-planning audiences.
• Review project plans for conformance with campus standards and master plans.
• Participate in construction-related update and status meetings.
• Mentor Georgia Tech students in campus planning and design projects.
• Represent the Institute in community and governmental organizations.
