Brown University Athletics is seeking a part-time Athletics Ticketing, Sales, & Creative Intern to assist with day-to-day and game-day ticket operations and sales initiatives. Located in Providence, RI, the role focuses on increasing visibility and attendance across multiple varsity sports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in ticketing, sales, marketing, promotions, customer service, event operations or related area preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Some prior experience in ticket sales/operations, marketing, promotions preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop and ability/willingness to learn new systems as required.
• Prior online ticket system experience preferred.

Job Description:The Athletics Ticketing, Sales & Creative Intern will assist the Athletics Ticket Manager and Ticketing & Group Sales Coordinator with increasing the overall visibility of Brown University Athletics through ticket sales efforts. This position will assist with day-to-day and game-day ticket operations at ticketed varsity athletic events.Located in Providence, Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League, our intercollegiate athletics program consists of 38 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes who participate within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA-D1).Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in game day preparation and execution for Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Gymnastics, Men’s Hockey, Women's Hockey, Men’s Lacrosse and Women’s Lacrosse.Develop ticket sales strategies to maximize attendance and revenue for ticketed sportsDevelop content to align with and promote sales initiativesDevelop/maintain relationships with various local Youth Organizations and schools.Provide friendly customer service at games and other Brown Athletic events.Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours· Must be willing to work some nights and weekends.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
