Job summary

Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) seeks a Recreation Supervisor – Athletics to oversee youth and adult sports, leagues, and instructional programs at the Wulf and Buchanan Park recreation centers in Evergreen, CO. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Recreation, or related field is required.
• Four years of experience in recreation or related field.
• Two years of supervisory experience in programming/management.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recreation registration systems (ActiveNet).

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, operate, and regularly evaluate athletics programs including leagues, tournaments, sporting events, and instructional programs.
• Monitor registration and attendance; assess feasibility and public interest; adjust as needed.
• Develop new, innovative programs and improve current ones.
• Coordinate with facilities/divisions to meet recreation goals and ensure guest service.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; recruit, hire, train, and evaluate personnel.
