Job summary

Suffolk is seeking a Recreation Leader to assist in implementing and supervising recreation athletic programs and leagues. Under direct supervision, you’ll support daily administration and help ensure smooth operations of activities.

The role requires evening and weekend hours and involves facility cleaning, basic data entry, and ongoing communication with staff and participants. A strong teamwork mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age by start date.
• Must have completed 10th grade.
• Ability to read a variety of reports and directions.
• Proficiency with basic word processing and email tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of athletics programming and leagues.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining the facility.
• Operate a PC for word processing, email and other tasks.
• Communicate with supervisors, employees and the public.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training as required.
• Perform other related duties as required.
