• Three (3) years of related experience required; substitutions not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Directs media relations for the Athletics Department and coordinates all media activities.
• Oversees the maintenance of the athletics web site with emphasis on press releases, rosters, bios, and statistics.
• Coordinates and maintains a photography archive for all athletics teams and maintains records and statistics for athletes.
• Assists in coordinating interviews with the news media and prepares athletic press releases.
• Supervises staff, assigns coverage for events, and manages the department budget.
• Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates and disciplines subordinate personnel; ensures compliance with NCAA rules.
