Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia seeks an Information Technology Manager to lead DRIA's IT and AV support, supervise IT staff, and align technology with university policies. The role partners with ISC and manages infrastructure strategy.

You will support events such as basketball games and Penn Relays, oversee hardware lifecycle, and develop IT policies while ensuring excellent customer service for coaches and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science is required.
• Demonstrated customer-focus and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to address and prioritize customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to DRIA coaches and staff directly.
• Supervise IT Support Specialists in providing excellent technical support for desktop/mobile hardware and software to DRIA coaches and staff.
• Maintain and manage production hardware and software for the DRIA hardware life-cycle.
• Lead DRIA's partnership with the University's central IT organization (ISC) in addressing the division's technology needs.
• Engage end users and partners to understand IT/AV needs and inform strategic planning; communicate within the division about IT/AV services.
• Create and maintain IT/AV documentation for athletic facilities, including SOPs and system manuals; provide support for capital projects.
• Oversee long-term IT/AV infrastructure strategy and development; troubleshoot and plan for DRIA's connection to the University's fiber network.
• Provide onsite IT/AV support for events and on-call for others; perform other duties as assigned.
