ReNEW Schools is seeking a District Athletics Intern in Indianapolis to support the management of district-wide athletics. This role involves attending athletic events, developing league schedules, and providing clerical support. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Opportunities to shadow Athletic Directors are provided, contributing to both the personal and professional growth of the intern. Regular attendance and adherence to a code of ethics are required.
JOB SUMMARY:
The District Athletics Intern is responsible for helping the district athletics administration manage and oversee athletics through the Indianapolis Public Schools district. This role supports the daily functions of the District Athletics Department and may impact district-wide operations. The District Athletics Intern may be required to interact with students, IPS faculty, parents/guardians, event attendees, partnering organizations, and others.
