ReNEW Schools in Indianapolis seeks an Assistant Athletic Director to collaborate with the Athletic Director in providing quality athletic programming. The role entails overseeing scheduling, managing events, and supporting the academic development of student athletes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills and a commitment to equity and diversity in athletics. This is an essential role within the athletic department, ensuring positive experiences for all students.
The Assistant Athletic Director will work directly with the Athletic Director to provide quality athletic programming opportunities for all of the enrolled students. The Assistant Athletic Director will play a critical role in several aspects of the school’s athletic programming, assisting with each sport that is offered. This position will also serve as the primary contact for the department when the Athletic Director is not available. The Assistant Athletic Director must uphold the highest moral and ethical standards as they will be representing their school and the Indianapolis Public Schools district.
