Job summary

Chicago State University Athletics is seeking a versatile game-day staff member to support football, basketball, volleyball, and soccer events with customer service, ticketing, ushering, and event setup.

You will assist at the ticket window, Will Call, scanning, seating, ball shagging, and field/court prep, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment and smooth operations for fans and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ticket Window & Customer Service duties for Football and Basketball.
• Event Set-Up & Breakdown responsibilities including equipment and signage.
• Ball Shagger duties to manage game balls and play flow.
• Ticket Scanner: verify and scan tickets and assist guests.
• Ushering: seating support and crowd management.
• Basketball-specific surface maintenance and stoppage support.
• Will Call Operations: prepare tickets, verify IDs, and troubleshoot issues.
