Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Support Services Associate to assist in Division I athletic event management. This temporary, full-time position supports preparations for Olympic sports events as well as home football and men's basketball games.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalency, strong written and verbal skills, and basic knowledge of computer applications. You must be able to work nights, weekends, and in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all facets of Division I athletic event management.
• Support preparation for regular and post-season Olympic sports events and home football and Men's Basketball games.
• Manage crowds, work with visiting teams/officials, manage scoreboards, scanning tickets, and public address.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and in inclement weather.
