Job summary

The University of Wyoming in Laramie seeks an Assistant Manager for the Athletics Equipment Room to supervise and support equipment operations for multiple teams, including purchasing, issuance, and inventory control.

You will collaborate with coaches, manage apparel and equipment compliance with NCAA rules, and assist with budget oversight. This is an on-campus position with occasional travel for away contests, requiring leadership of student workers and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of equipment-related experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with coaches to address equipment needs of programs.
• Ensure uniforms, helmets, and logos comply with NCAA rules and brand directives.
• Assist with practice and game laundry and inventory on apparel and accessories.
• Maintain inventory for assigned teams (apparel, footwear, accessories).
• Assist in embellishment of team-issued apparel and competition wear.
• Handle shipping/receiving for the Athletics Department.
