Job summary

William & Mary’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics seeks an Associate Athletic Director of Compliance & Administration. The role develops and maintains comprehensive NCAA Division I, Patriot League, and CAA compliance programs, including eligibility certification and monitoring student-athletes, coaches, and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Significant experience in athletic compliance or policy development.
• High-level analytical skills with ability to apply rules and interpretations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain NCAA/Patriot League/CAA/compliance program including eligibility and financial aid processes.
• Coordinate and oversee policy development, training, and monitoring of NCAA rules and compliance.
• Serve as liaison with Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, and other offices to ensure institutional compliance.
• Manage NIL compliance processes and related systems.
• Provide reports to NCAA and conferences with required compliance data.
• Lead and supervise staff within the Compliance and Academic Support Services unit.
