Job summary

William & Mary’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics seeks an Associate Athletic Director for Compliance & Administration to lead the comprehensive NCAA Division I compliance program, managing eligibility, financial aid, graduation data, and compliance education. The role requires a Master’s degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience in NCAA rules; preferred JD and NCAA/D1/DII exposure.

The position demands confidentiality and occasional evening/weekend work.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Significant experience in Athletic Compliance or policy development.
• Strong knowledge of NCAA rules and ability to interpret changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain NCAA/conference compliance programs and policies.
• Oversee and evaluate compliance with recruiting, financial aid, and eligibility rules.
• Coordinate NIL compliance and related systems.
• Collaborate with campus offices to ensure compliance.
• Lead staff and manage time-sensitive compliance tasks.
