Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking an Associate Director of Compliance to support day-to-day operations of the Office of Compliance Services and ensure a comprehensive program covering NCAA, BIG XII Conference, and institutional rules with emphasis on eligibility and personnel. The role promotes the department's mission and values while aligning with CU Boulder policies and NCAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of three years of NCAA compliance experience at a Division I, FBS institution, national HQ, or conference office.
• Proven knowledge of NCAA rules in eligibility and NCAA applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, service-oriented with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Master’s degree and five years of compliance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NCAA Bylaw 14 academic eligibility reviews and coordinate with related offices.
• Assist with APR review and support Herbst Academic Center for continuing eligibility.
• Supervise NCAA Bylaw 11 conduct and employment of athletics personnel and onboarding of coaches and staff.
• Lead onboarding screenings and new hire orientation for coaches and staff, and manage compliance software access.
• Oversee athletic program staff designations and attestations adherence with NCAA rules.
• Manage IC360 and ProhiBet sports wagering compliance and educate stakeholders.
• Serve as OCS liaison to sport programs and campus offices for interpretations and support.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.
