Job summary

Florida International University in Miami seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance to analyze NCAA and campus regulations, determine student-athlete eligibility, and maintain compliance data across systems. You will work with the Registrar, SAAC, and IT to ensure accurate reporting and timely regulatory adherence.

The role supports the FIU Athletics Compliance Program, liaises with key offices, and ensures alignment with NCAA bylaws and Conference USA policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and seven (7) years of experience or Master’s with five (5) years of experience.
Relevant athletics compliance experience preferred.
Familiarity with NCAA rules, conferences and campus policies is required.

Responsibilities

Analyze NCAA, Conference USA, and campus regulations to ensure compliance.
Determine eligibility status for student-athletes with documentation reviews.
Maintain data in compliance systems and produce reports for SAAC and NCAA reporting.
Collaborate with Registrar, Academic units, and IT for system enhancements and data accuracy.
Serve as liaison to NCAA Eligibility Center and athletic compliance stakeholders.
