Baylor University in Waco, TX is seeking an Associate Director of Communications to shape and protect the athletics brand through media relations and digital communications.

The role leads PR for 19 sports, collaborates with the athletics communications team, and supports pre/post-competition coverage, social channels, statistics, and archives.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience and must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Serve as the primary PR practitioner and media liaison for assigned sports.
• Collaborate with athletics communications team to support all 19 sport programs.
• Assist with media needs pre- and post-competition; coordinate press materials.
• Ensure timely and accurate flow of information across social media, statistics, video, and press releases.
• Maintain historical archives to preserve program history for future generations.
• Travel with assigned programs and assist with coverage of additional programs as necessary.
• Monitor public perception and coordinate strategic messaging to media and public; communicate with coaches and administration.
