Regis University Athletics is seeking an Athletics CDL Bus Driver to transport NCAA Division II student-athletes, coaches, and staff to away games, practices, and events from Denver, CO. The role requires a flexible schedule with evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.

The position is Part-Time / As-Needed (Seasonal/Hourly Pool) with compensation of $45.00–$65.00 per hour, depending on experience and routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Active Passenger (P) endorsement required.
• Air Brake endorsement preferred.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) meeting insurance requirements.
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) and ability to pass random drug/alcohol screens.
• Able to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs of gear.
• Must clear comprehensive university background screening, including fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation for Regis Rangers teams to away games, tournaments, and practices.
• Navigate long-distance regional trips and variable winter mountain driving conditions.
• Perform mandatory DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Adhere to FMCSA hours-of-service and logging requirements.
• Assist coaching staff and athletes with loading and securing gear.
• Keep university buses clean, fueled, and mechanically safe before/after trips.
