Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking Bus Driver-CDL positions to operate campus transit vehicles on routine and contracted routes, ensuring passenger safety and on-time service. You will be responsible for inspections, route adherence, and communications with dispatch while maintaining vehicle readiness.

The role offers full benefits, a $25.00/hour pay rate with differential for evenings and weekends, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus after six months.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL Class A or B license without air brake restriction.
• CDL with passenger endorsement and ability to pass DOT drug tests.
• Two years of CDL-related driving experience, or 6 months for transit bus.
• Must complete a pre-placement medical evaluation for CDL operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports people using university vehicles and adheres to routes and schedules.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and CDL paperwork including passenger counts and mileage.
• Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections and coordinate with dispatch if issues arise.
• Execute other duties to maintain department readiness and participate in safety trainings.
