Job summary

Rutgers University is seeking an Edit/Media Assistant in the Athletics department, based on campus in New Brunswick, NJ. The role supports student crews, streaming production, and coordination with network partners for live events.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and NCAA Division I experience, with evenings and weekend work as needed. On-site only, with comprehensive benefits and a union-supported environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Experience in NCAA Division I athletics or equivalent.
• Experience in EFP/remote sports production and equipment setup.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under time constraints.
• Adherence to university, conference and NCAA policies.

Responsibilities

• Manages student broadcast crew and provides training from basic to advanced TV production practices.
• Assists in A/V engineering control room systems and manages camera systems for streaming and in-venue productions.
• Collaborates with Big Ten Network on logistics and scheduling for streaming events, press conferences, and media requests.
