Job summary

College of Southern Nevada (CSN) seeks an Athletic Academic Advisor to support over 200 student athletes, ensuring NJCAA/Region 1 and CSN compliance. You will work with the Director of Advising & Coaching Services, the Athletic Director, and coaches to enhance academic monitoring and graduation outcomes.

Grow advising infrastructure, monitor success metrics, and manage multiple regulatory requirements while supporting the mission to promote student-athlete achievement and values-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required or equivalent experience.
• 3 years in athletic academic advising and compliance at NJCAA/NCAA level.
• 5 years in athletic academic advising and compliance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Advise, develop, and coordinate academic plans and support for 200+ CSN student athletes and ensure compliance with NJCAA, Region 1, CSN rules.
• Grow and support existing advising infrastructure to meet demands for academic monitoring and skill-building.
• Monitor academic success rates, data reports, and NSHE requests to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Director of Advising & Coaching Services, Athletic Director, and coaches to maintain program integrity and regulatory compliance.
