Manhattan University is seeking an entry-level Assistant Athletic Academic Advisor / Compliance Coordinator to support academic success for student-athletes and assist the Athletics Compliance Office. The role will oversee 1–2 teams, monitor progress, and help ensure NCAA eligibility and day-to-day compliance operations.

You will collaborate with coaches and athletics staff, coordinate tutoring and learning resources, and contribute to programs aimed at retention and graduation in a Division I

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience in academic advising, student services, or athletics administration preferred
• Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations is preferred but not required

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary academic advisor for assigned athletic teams and monitor academic progress toward degree and NCAA eligibility
• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with student-athletes to foster time management and academic success
• Coordinate tutoring, study hall, and learning resources for student-athletes
• Communicate regularly with coaches regarding academic progress and concerns
• Maintain accurate academic records and report weekly updates to coaches and athletics staff
• Assist with initial and continuing NCAA eligibility certification in collaboration with compliance staff
• Support programming related to scholarly success, retention, and graduation initiatives
• Provide administrative support to the Athletics Compliance Office and maintain compliance systems
