Job summary

Valid NC driver's license required and willingness to obtain CPR within a year. Ability to read maps, follow instructions, and work safely with chemicals and tools is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification within one year of hire.
• Valid driver's license in North Carolina.
• General knowledge of turf grass, horticulture, and maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Mows and maintains athletic fields, golf course greens, fairways, roughs, and playgrounds.
• Trims hedges and weeds around fences, water hazards, play equipment, and other areas.
• Repairs and maintains irrigation systems.
• Operates a variety of maintenance equipment including mowers and tractors.
• Helps set up facilities for events.
