Position Overview

The Temporary Athletic Trainer will assist the Head Athletic Trainer in the overall administration of the athletic training program. Primary responsibilities include supervision and management of athletic training services for assigned sports teams, injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing practice and game/event coverage, including travel. The selected candidate must communicate effectively with the head athletic trainer, team physicians, and coaches. This is a 10‑month appointment with a variable work schedule based on sport assignment.
