North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University is seeking an Athletic Trainer to assist in the comprehensive management of their athletic training program. The role involves supervising athletic training services, managing injury prevention and treatment, and collaborating effectively with team personnel.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, be BOC certified, and possess a valid NC athletic training licensure. The position requires flexibility and includes benefits such as vacation leave and health insurance.
The Athletic Trainer will assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the overall administration of the athletic training program. Primary sport responsibility will be supervision and management of athletic training services for sporting teams. Responsibilities include injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation; maintaining accurate medical records; practice and game/event coverage; pre‑participation evaluations; coordinating medical insurance claims; and supervising student athletic trainers and volunteers. The selected candidate must communicate effectively with the head athletic trainer, team physicians, coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, and administrators. Additional duties may be assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.
