Job summary

OhioHealth Dublin is seeking an Athletic Trainer to evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries and concussions within the Sports Medicine practice. You will work under physician supervision, provide on-site home exercise and bracing instructions, and assist with documentation and care coordination.

You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and office staff, performing clinical tasks, patient education, and scheduling while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• ATC Athletic Trainer credential and state licensure in Ohio are required.
• Competency with computers and electronic medical records is expected.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, perform physical exam, and order tests under physician supervision.
• Provide neurocognitive, BESS and SCAT testing for concussion patients.
• Perform cast/brace applications and brace changes under physician supervision.
• Document vital signs and EMR entries; assist physicians with procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate imaging, labs, and pre-admission tests; relay prescriptions.
• Liaise with patients and medical team; schedule follow-ups and manage referrals.
