Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Licensed Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training services for the Waterford School District while supporting our Southern Lakes outpatient clinic in Burlington. The role includes training room coverage, practices, and athletic events for student-athletes, with clinic hours incorporated weekly to supplement school-based coverage.

Hours are primarily Monday through Friday, with evening and weekend coverage as needed for athletic events.

Formación

• Current Athletic Training certification by the Board of Certification (BOC).
• Licensed or eligible for Athletic Trainer license within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to complete American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS), CPR/AED within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from CAATE program.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct assessments of injuries and refer patients to appropriate services.
• Provide clear communication to patients regarding self-care, prevention, and treatment techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Establish and execute treatment plans based on patient evaluations and health goals.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
• Direct athletes in performance enhancement programs for fitness or injury prevention.
• Identify and address factors affecting patient comfort, considering diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Plan and facilitate discharge with at-home care instructions, education, and referrals.
• Complete documentation per department policies, including assessments, progress notes, and billing records.
• Identify opportunities for community outreach to increase awareness and referrals.
