Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System seeks an Athletic Trainer to support patient care in orthopedic outpatient offices and clinics. You will assist physicians, trainers, and staff from arrival to departure, preparing charts and aiding in scheduling while ensuring regulatory readiness.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Athletic Training (accredited) and 2 years orthopedic healthcare experience; a Master's is preferred and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program is required.
• Master's Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program is preferred.
• 2 years of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Certified Athletic Trainer is required; PA Athletic Trainer is required; Basic Life Support is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians, athletic trainers, orthopedic surgeons, APPs and supportive staff with patient care in the Orthopedic Surgery outpatient offices and clinics.
• Prepares charts for visits, testing approvals, and assists in procedure/surgery scheduling.
• Contributes to regulatory readiness, inventory/stocking, patient phone responses, and other duties as assigned including supervision of subordinate positions.
• Travel is required for this position to Temple Hospital, Jeanes Campus, Fort Washington Practice.
