Job summary

Temple Faculty Practice Plan is seeking an Orthopedic Tech Aide to support the orthopedic surgeon in outpatient offices and clinics in Philadelphia. You will accompany patients from arrival to departure, assist with vitals, rooming, and visit preparation.

Responsibilities include assisting in scheduling procedures, maintaining regulatory readiness and inventory, and collaborating with medical assistants, athletic trainers, PAs and physicians to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Required or Registered Medical Assistant Required or Ortho Tech Certified Required

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 1 year of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting Required
