Job summary

Virtua Medical Group in Moorestown, NJ seeks a Per Diem Athletic Trainer to support direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role involves pre-exam prep, patient education, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Athletic Training Program; Bachelor's before fall 2022 and Master’s after.
• Must have completed the NATA Board of Certification exam and state licensure.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting history.
• Provides patient education on diagnosis and home exercise programs.
• Applies casting, splinting and DME under physician supervision.
• Screens and directs patient calls and communicates prescriptions/testing results as directed.
• Maintains clinical supplies and regulatory testing and equipment accuracy.
