Qualifications

• 1–3 years of athletic trainer experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
• NATA Board of Certification exam completed and state licensure.
• BLS CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between patients and physicians.
• Prepare patient for exam with thorough history and physical, and prep for provider exam.
• Record patient data in EMR and maintain files.
• Maintain clinic flow and readiness for next patient.
• Communicate treatment plan clearly in writing and verbally.
• Perform casting, splinting, suturing/staple removal, wound care, and equipment fitting.
