Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training completed before fall 2022.
• Master’s degree required after.
• Must have fulfilled all requirements of the NATA Board of Certification exam and state licensure.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.

Aufgaben

• Prepares patient for exam by obtaining and documenting vital signs, chief complaint and history of present illnesses, and preparing patient for provider exam.
• Provides patient education on their diagnosis and demonstrates home exercise programs.
• Applies casting, splinting and durable medical equipment under the supervision of the physician.
• Screens and directs patient calls according to established protocol.
• Contacts patients about prescriptions and testing results as directed by the physician.
• Maintains regulatory testing and supplies to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance.
