Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support pediatric and adolescent patients in clinic and school-based outreach. You will assist with medical event coverage, patient evaluation, and development of individualized care plans in collaboration with attending providers.

The role emphasizes prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, and requires BOC‑certified ATs licensed in Wisconsin or able to obtain within 30 days; a bachelor's degree is required,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required; master’s degree preferred.
• BOC certification required.
• State of Wisconsin AT license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire required.
• Experience or interest in pediatric/adolescent patients preferred.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to a culturally competent environment.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical event coverage and patient evaluation for pediatric/adolescent patients.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans in collaboration with attending providers.
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Deliver patient and family education in collaboration with our attending providers for school-based outreach.
