Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Pediatric Athletic Trainer to join the Orthopedic Service Line. You will work collaboratively with physicians, clinic staff, and school/community partners to deliver direct patient care for pediatric and adolescent patients in clinic or school settings.

Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, performing concussion testing, and educating patients and families while adhering to evidence-based guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• BOC-Certified Athletic Trainer is required.
• State license as Athletic Trainer within 30 days.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and clinics to deliver pediatric patient care.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans for patients and families.
• Administer concussion testing and other assessments as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliant documentation.
