Job summary

Duke Orthopaedics Clinic in Morrisville, NC is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide direct and indirect care to patients in the clinic setting.

The successful candidate will have a four-year degree in athletic training, NATABOC certification, NC licensure, and CPR; a master's degree is preferred. Responsibilities include patient care, clerical duties, and adherence to Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree meeting athletic trainer requirements.
• Master's degree preferred.
• NATABOC Certification required.
• Licensed by NC Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the Duke Orthopaedic Clinic in Morrisville, including rooming patients and taking histories.
• Document HPI and chart patient information; answer calls and complete forms.
• Prepare clinics, obtain test results, update charts, verify insurance and authorizations.
• Restock supplies, maintain clean exam rooms, and follow safety protocols.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training

Master's degree preferred

NATABOC Certification

Licensed by NC Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners

Current CPR certification
