Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to deliver athletic training services for high schools and community events at the WFBMG University Group Practice: WFBMC Main location in Winston-Salem. The role includes on-site coverage, acute care, and collaboration with the Sports Medicine Team.

Qualified candidates hold a CAATE-accredited bachelor's degree, BOC certification, and licensure eligibility within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from CAATE-accredited program.
• Current athletic training certification by the BOC.
• Licensed or eligible for state licensure within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to complete AHA BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to high schools and community events to support departmental goals.
• Assist with event coverage within the Sports Medicine Team concept.
• Provide acute medical care on the field during practices or events.
• Offer clinical athletic training services in local clinics as needed.
• Perform on-site evaluation and care procedures for illnesses and injuries, including emergencies.
