Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to join our fast-paced orthopedic practice. The ATC will provide clinical coverage and collaborate with physicians and therapists to develop rehabilitation plans for athletes of all ages.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork and education, with opportunities to work in clinical, collegiate and school settings and to grow professionally within IBJI.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Athletic Training Program.
• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer; hold or eligible for Illinois Licensure.
• Experience in physician or physical therapy settings preferred.
• Strong rehabilitation skill set; knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training coverage at events, practices and games.
• Develop rehabilitation and treatment regimens with physician recommendations.
• Communicate with physicians, clinicians, coaches and parents regarding care plans.
• Maintain patient documentation in the EMR and complete daily paperwork.
• Participate in ongoing education and team-based care initiatives.
