Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer for Hayden High School to provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and patient education. The role collaborates with healthcare professionals to support overall patient wellness and adapts to a flexible schedule to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Athletic Training or Bachelor’s with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Current certification as an Athletic Trainer and Alabama licensure is listed in the ad, with BLS/Healthcare Provider.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
• Coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals and educate patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliant billing when applicable.
• Participate in educational programs and community outreach events.
• Adapt to flexible scheduling including varying shifts and events.
