Job summary

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center is seeking a dedicated athletic trainer to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will provide clinical and administrative support, perform patient intake, document in the EMR, and assist providers with procedures in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Athletic Training with 3+ years in orthopedics or sports medicine, Ohio licensure, and strong communication and patient education skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of athletic training, orthopedics, or sport medicine experience preferred.
• Current Ohio Athletic Trainer License required; BOC certification preferred; BLS certification required.
• Orthopedic and patient care knowledge, EMR proficiency preferred, strong communication, organization, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient orthopedic practice.
• Perform patient intake, obtain vitals, document in the EMR, and assist providers with procedures.
• Remove sutures/staples, apply dressings, prepare injections, and respond to patient calls per protocol.
• Fit and educate patients on durable medical equipment (DME) and coordinate insurance authorizations.
• Ensure accurate chart preparation, documentation, and charge capture.

The Essentials

• Schedule: Full-Time 36 hours per week | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
• Specialty: Orthopedics, Pain Management
• Travel: Occasional travel between clinic locations

What You\'ll Do

• Provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient orthopedic practice.
