Job description

Drayer Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for an Athletic Trainer to join our team in Middletown, PA, serving Middletown High School.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. In accordance with applicable state laws, rules, and regulations, the licensed athletic trainer provides athletic training services to local schools, community events, and organized sports.
  2. Provides athletic training services in accordance with established contracts.
  3. Performs clinical responsibilities based on location.
  4. Works closely and collaboratively with all members of the sports medicine team.
  5. Collaborates with supervising/team physicians.
  6. Provides sports medicine consultations to coaches, athletes, parents, and others.
  7. Conducts athletic training/sports medicine workshops as requested.
  8. Maintains daily treatment records and documentation on patients.
  9. Communicates effectively with team members, patients, families, and coaches.
Qualifications:
  1. Current athletic training license or eligibility in the state of the position.
  2. Current certification by and in good standing with the Board of Certification.
  3. Demonstrates competency in athletic training principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
  4. CPR Certified.
  5. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  6. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  7. Excellent organizational and listening skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
