Job summary

The University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is seeking an Athletic Ticket Office Student Assistant. You will assist fans with ticket purchases, answer inquiries, and process sales at phone, mail, and walk-up windows. This is a part-time role requiring student enrollment.

Must have a high school diploma and be currently enrolled at UK. Some customer service experience is preferred, and you should be able to work weeknights and weekend events, including home football games.

Shift

Office hours: Monday – Friday may be available based on office needs.
Athletic Events: Weeknights and weekend athletic events: Required to work all home football games and select athletic events for all 7 other UK Athletic ticketed sports throughout the season, and other events hosted by UK Athletics.

Job Summary

In accordance with established policies and procedures, provide exceptional customer service over the phone and in person at the ticket office. Answer customer inquiries and process ticket sales via phone, mail, and walk-up orders. Responsible for daily reconciliation of ticket sales and payments. Other assignments may include but are not limited to mobile ticket help zones, the compliance pass entrance, will call distribution and scanning operations.
Must be able/willing to work some nights and weekends as needed for events, including working all home football games. Must have reliable transportation to and from athletic events. Perform other tasks as assigned by Ticket Office staff.
