Job summary

RiseMe is seeking an Athletic Coordinator to plan, organize, and supervise a broad range of youth and adult athletic programs within the City of Kennesaw's Parks and Recreation Department. The role partners with local sports associations, manages registrations, schedules, and safety and risk measures, and reports to the Parks and Recreation Division Manager.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Recreation Administration (or related field) with several years of progressive experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Administration, Physical Education, Leisure Services or related field; supplemented by three years of progressively responsible experience in recreation programming; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license; CPR and Certified Parks and Recreation Professional certifications may be required.
