Job summary

The Potomac School's Athletic Department is seeking an Athletic Operations Coordinator to develop and coordinate administrative, operational, and social media processes. This full-time role reports to the Director of Athletics and supports staff, coaches, and student-athletes in a dynamic K-12 setting.

Ideal candidates hold an associate's degree with at least two years of related experience, strong Excel/Slides skills, and a passion for social media content creation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required with a minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Google Slides.
• Passion for social media and proficiency with major platforms and management tools.
• Functional knowledge of social media usage and copywriting/editing skills.
• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and inventory control and record maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain athletic rosters and inventories, and coordinate equipment.
• Compile information for the weekly school newsletter.
• Greet and assist visitors and manage communications via phone, email, and mail.
• Coordinate purchase orders and acquire athletic clothing and equipment.
• Develop engaging content for Athletics social media and produce live coverage of events.
