Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in athletic field maintenance.
• Physically capable of performing duties as described.
• Massachusetts commercial pesticide license and hoisting license (2-A) required/within timeframe.
• DOT card required/within 60 days.
• Must read/write English; comply with OSHA regs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain athletic fields and tennis courts for events.
• Coordinate maintenance with athletic coaches around practices/games.
• Maintain grounds: mowing, seeding, fertilization, irrigation, marking, cleanup.
• Operate equipment: mowers, blowers, weed whackers, rollers, tractors.
• Manage irrigation systems: winterize and repair as needed.
• Maintain and inventory field maintenance equipment and supplies.
• Record time and work orders in the system.
