Job summary

Boston College Athletics seeks an experienced Athletic Maintenance staff member to provide clean, safe facilities and playing surfaces, including natural grass, irrigation, field painting, and arena maintenance. Responsibilities span grounds, fields, and event support, with the ability to operate a range of maintenance equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Must have a Massachusetts applicator pesticides license.
• Must obtain a Massachusetts 2A hoisting license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and groom natural grass playing surfaces and fields.
• Perform field painting, marking, and layout; operate a variety of turf equipment.
• Maintain outdoor recreation areas, including courts, arenas and related facilities.
• Support events and move equipment safely under tight timelines.
