Job summary

You will operate mowers, trimmers, and small tractors, perform edging, fertilizing, irrigation checks, and assist with setup and breakdown of outdoor activities, contributing to a welcoming school environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of landscaping or groundskeeping experience (school or campus setting a plus).
• Expertise: Demonstrated ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and tools.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and seasonal maintenance; basic irrigation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus lawns, gardens and outdoor spaces: mowing, edging, fertilizing, irrigation monitoring.
• Prepare sports fields and assist with setup and breakdown of outdoor events.
• Safely operate mowers, trimmers, small tractors and other landscaping tools.
• Uphold safety and presentation standards on campus.
