St Charles Park District is seeking an entry-level Athletic Field Supervisor for seasonal work at the Sportsplex in St. Charles, IL.
You will help deliver recreation services, assist with game preparation and safety procedures, and support park staff while maintaining a welcoming attitude. Job Summary - About the Role
Deliver high quality recreation services for residents, visitors and the St. Charles community by adhering to the District’s safety and administrative policies and procedures.
This position is well suited for someone with a friendly and positive personality who is productive and shows initiative, is an effective written and oral communicator, is reliable and safety-minded.
Required: Requires a minimum of 16 years of age. High School diploma or in progress. One-year experience in face-to-face program delivery is desirable. Understanding of the rules and procedures for adult sports. Maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certification or obtain certification within 30 days of hire. Maintain DCFS Mandated Reporter certification or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
Under the direction and supervision of the Superintendent of Recreation, Assistant Superintendent of Recreation – Athletics and Sportsplex and the Athletic Supervisor, the Athletic Field Supervisor shall complete their assigned duties to the best of their abilities, offering suggestions of better ways to accomplish jobs and be ever mindful of the best interests of the St. Charles Park District and of fellow employees.
