Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space seeks a full-time Park Maintenance Supervisor to lead a crew and oversee the care and maintenance of sports facilities and recreation areas. You will supervise seasonal staff, schedule tasks, ensure safety compliance, and perform semi-skilled repairs while maintaining grounds, fields and equipment.

The role requires knowledge of irrigation, carpentry, plumbing, and basic shop mathematics.

Formación

• Equivalent to High School graduation or GED; AND three (3) years of landscaping maintenance or sports field management experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• OSHA 30 Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides lead direction, training and work review to a crew; assigns work and ensures completion.
• Instructs on safety procedures and proper work methods.
• Constructs, repairs and maintains park and ball field structures and equipment.
• Installs and maintains irrigation systems; reads plans and blueprints.
