Job summary

The City of Hampton seeks a Park Supervisor to lead a team of Parks professionals in delivering high-quality park grounds and facility maintenance. The role plans, coordinates, and directs an integrated maintenance approach to keep parks beautiful, safe, and ready for the community daily.

Under general supervision, you’ll supervise Team Leaders and front-line workers, while determining how and when tasks are completed. This position may require extended hours and local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 3 years of experience in parks/grounds/landscape maintenance or closely related field.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct integrated maintenance for parks and facilities.
• Supervise team leaders and front-line workers.
• Work under Parks Administrator with set procedures; determine how/when to complete tasks.
