Job summary

The Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida, seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain ten and a half athletic fields, common areas, and facility grounds for year-round events. Responsibilities include field setup, mowing, pruning, and equipment maintenance, with OSHA safety standards to follow.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and experience in grounds or landscape maintenance. The role requires physical labor, irregular hours, and reliable transportation to JRTC

Qualifications

• Experience in athletic field or landscape maintenance preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain athletic fields, landscaped areas and facility grounds for high quality, safe venues.
• Perform mowing, edging, raking, weeding, and trimming.
• Prune trees, hedges and shrubs as needed.
• Assist with field setup for practices and games.
• Assist with weather-related tarp placements and field prep.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
