Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking grounds crew team members to maintain the venue grounds and athletic fields for events and daily operations. The role focuses on turf care, landscaping, field preparation, and safe handling of equipment, contributing to a pristine venue presentation for athletes and guests.

The position offers a paid hourly rate of $16.94 and part‑time benefits including a 401(k) Savings Plan with matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in all types of weather.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work safely and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mowing, trimming, and weeding 80 acres of property.
• Maintain all mulch and flower beds.
• Perform basic maintenance on landscaping equipment.
• Mixing of paint and operation of painters.
• Painting of a regulation NCAA football field (including gridiron, numbers, hashes, and logos).
• Setting and moving of string lines and stencils.
• Assisting in the deployment of rain covers when needed.
• Putting out pylons, sideline covers, goalpost pads, and field goal nets.
• Replacing of divots before and after pregame warm‑ups.
• Raising and lowering of field goal nets during games.
• Removal of pylons, sideline covers, goalpost pads, and field goal nets.
• Fixing of any major divots.
